wow- well said chad!

Sounds like instead of a worshiping community the pastor is seeking to make a para-church organization that focuses on evangelism and discpleship...

Worship doesnotequal liturgy, which is precisely the issue that many protestants and most evangelicals fail to grok.

It sounds like the worship they are giving up is about production values, so maybe that's not a bad thing to lose or reduce in the life of a faith community. Will people who were drawn to the fabulously produced worship really get the discipleship idea?
What fascinates me is that this is such a "top-down" decision, or so it sounds.

Hey Everybody!

We're giving it our best shot. I wasn't saying it is what you or your church should do, but it is the will of God for our local church.

Thanks for your thoughts,

Shaun
