I stand by the Creed -

"He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. His kingdom shall have no end."

That's hard to say, since the "end times" conversation has changed so much since John Wesley passed away.

Later in life, Wesley began to alter (or at least nuance) his views on eschatology somewhat. He began to take much more interest in the coming general resurrection and what that will look like for all of God's creation.

He seems to have always had a focus on the present in-breaking of the Kingdom of God, but early on tended to hold to an 'other worldly' life after death. I think we can see in the last paragraph you posted from this sermon that he is at least beginning to think more in terms of the 'final renovation of all things'.

Good stuff Chad!
